To add on: I got an email from UMich Admissions that said “CONGRATULATIONS” and then I double-checked on my portal’s “application status” and it said accepted.
Good luck to everyone else!!! x

Soo, no word from Ann Arbor yet, but I did get into Dearborn. Threy evaluated my transcript and I basically would have 33 credits going in, even though I came in with 70-80. Not really mad about that, my college journey was crazy… I’m just hoping that Ann Arbor will take me with that kind of number of actually useful credits for the school.
Wish me luck ;_; I really want to get in. They kept telling me their system was down when I called and asked if they still needed anything and I just found out I needed to turn in my high school transcript a week before the deadline (I thought I had turned it in, but I did not, my fault.) So the transcript got there February 1st.
I hope I get in man. Great program, I know my goals and explained them in my essays, and two of my online friends go there and I’d love to meet them.
Hi Guys.
I’m having a question.
I’ve submitted my application through the common application with my official college transcript to the common app. However, my portal is still displaying that my transcript is not received.
I’m just wondering if I need to email U-Mich a transcript again? Would that be okay if I only send my transcript to the common app, not to their email or mailing address?
Thanks for helping me! I consider this chance very seriously.
@AlisaZHQ i got my university to send my transcript to transcripts@umich.edu
I also sent my in through the common app, I also sent my HS transcript separately, i’m not sure why it’s not showing up for you either, I feel like this has been an ongoing problem
Did u also send to common app? I should have asked my school to send again, as I thought Umich should be able to see the transcript in my common application. I am confused!
The only thing that shows up for me are my AP Score and SAT reports…
Did you send your college transcripts to their email or their office? I initially thought it was not necessary as Umich should be able to load my transcript from the common app but later my counselor told me that I should not send to Common app but only to Umich. It has been deadline passed and I am trying to send a new copy to Umich ASAP.
I got the exact same procedure with u, and I only got my SAT score and high school materials updated…
For me, I just checked my colleges transcript thing as well as parchment (they send my HS transcripts) and both say they were received and reviewed by the UMICH Undergrad Office, I wouldn’t sweat it too much, it just might not show up
Did u email your college transcript to both the email and common app or only to common app?
@AlisaZHQ I did both
I’ll ask again on this page, if it turns out I have 33 credits that will transfer over, despite having 70-80 credits, will that help or hurt my chances?
@ShiroNyako I can’t imagine a situation where it would help your chances. Not sure about UMich but I called other schools about it like UCLA and University of Florida, they said you NEED 90 quarter units (60 semester units) to be offered admission. Have you called UM admissions? Maybe they think differently.
Oh and also that was for junior transfers ^
Thanks, I looked it up and it says that for LSA, at most you can transfer 60. And I just remembered theree was a person or two who transferred after a year so, fingers crossed.
