Not sure what else to add. What are my chances of getting in? What can I do to increase my chances of getting in for Fall 2019?
What school do you go to and what is your current grade point? Michigan is very picky on transferring credit so look at the equivalency on their website. You might have to retake some classes. Also I think if you transfer as a junior they don’t look at your high school records. Talk to an admission counselor at Michigan now to get details.

Quick question. I am currently a sophomore at MSU sand have applied to transfer to go to UofM. I have sent my freshman year transcript and was wondering if my Fall 2018 grades are required to get my admission decision.
Can you get waitlisted as a transfer for fall ???
@stitch12345 I don’t think you can get waitlist status as a transfer, because the freshman class usually have an overwhelming amount of students on the waitlist

@collegehelp1337
Hi, your HS GPA, I’d suggest staying at your current school until you’re at 60 credits (Junior level). At 60 credits, your HS performance becomes negligible.
Applying is still worth a shot, but if you’re not accepted, then there’s no reason to not re-apply.
@collegegoer171
They do request your final semester grades later in the term, but it usually comes after you are accepted/denied.
So long as your performance remains mostly consistent in the final semester (AKA: you didn’t fail every single class), then you’re all good. The final semester grades can involve having acceptance revoked, but it’s extremely uncommon.
@Ruberi
Your stats are a little better than mine, but I was accepted last year. I think you have a great chance at getting in. Working a job and attending school shows responsibility and should definitely benefit you.
They might ask why you left school temporarily in a separate essay (they did it to a friend of mine), but I don’t think you’ll need to go into too much detail (especially with the reasoning behind it).
The Financial aid is phenomenal here for us low-income people.

Hi Everyone,
When you are applying through common app, you can Add Continuing Education Courses. Are those just classes that you are registered for Spring semester and won’t complete before the deadline? If so, what is copy of course certificate that they ask for?
Thank you so much
Hey guys! I already submitted my application last week but reading through the thread I just realised that I did not send the list of my current courses to UMich. I never realised i had to send one. However, I already put my current courses on common app and my official community college transcript that i sent them also listed my current courses. Is this okay? Can someone help me clarify this thing? I’m super worried right now hahah

What do you think are my chances for transferring my sophomore year? (this fall 2019) It’s all I want and I’m getting very discouraged.
@goblue1405. Have you gone to https://admissions.umich.edu/transfer-tuesday/2468
Or contacted them to make sure all your credits transfer. I think if you transfer before like junior credit status they look at your high school record. You have a great GPA at one of their branches so that seems very positive. Good luck.
Yes, I made sure all of my credits will transfer to Ann Arbor. Thank you!
