I am a senior in high school and I live in Ohio.

This year I am taking:
Physics
Honors Chemistry
College Comp 1 & 2
PreCalc
Spanish 4
American Government
(my school does not offer AP courses)

GPA:3.8 (unweighted)

ACT Composite: 25
ACT Math: 25
ACT English: 30

I am 20th in my class of 142.

I have participated in soccer and basketball. I still participate in track and have received a varsity letter for 3 years.

I am currently in national honors society and foreign language club.

I also work at a restaurant and have since June, 2011.

I have had many family members attend the university of michigan, including 2 of my grandparents.

I am aware my composite ACT score is on the low side for the university of michigan. One of my admissions essays asked me to discuss the specific undergraduate programs I am interested in, and I discussed how I am interested in studying english.

Will my ACT score hold me back from being accepted into the university of michigan?
