Corey, if you applied online, you should have received an ID# that would let you check your app status online. If you didn't apply online, you can still get an ID by calling or emailing them, if they didn't send one automatically.
thanks so much

what would our password be then? i called them for my 8-digit ID number but im curious about what the password would be.

It's been awhile, but it seems like we had to create an account first from the wolverine site (using email address as login ID and specifying our own password), and the app ID# was entered at some point while creating the account. I'll look at the site and let you know if I find anything more specific.

Corey, try going to this "Friend Account" creation site and entering your e-mail address. Then look for instructions on an e-mail you'll receive. https://friend.weblogin.umich.edu/friend/

Got it, thanks so much!!

Now if I am accepted or declined, will it say so? Or will I have tto click a specific link?

From what I've read in earlier posts, once a decision is made a "View Decision" button (or link) shows up, or maybe it was "View Results". Someone on CC said he/she clicked the button and instead of the results, a message was displayed stating that a letter would arrive in the mail soon. Kind of a tease -- I guess they prefer people get their notifications the old fashioned way. I think the letter arrived in about two days.

I assume that at some point the actual decision is shown online.

has anyone heard from the Jan. 13th auditions?

Wickedone,

I do know that some people who auditioned on the 13th have gotten letters (last Thursday and Friday) but I haven't yet heard of any acceptances or deferrals.

Fingers crossed for you!!!

Some people who auditioned on Jan. 13 have heard. However, I know from last year when my D auditioned at UM on Jan. 14, some heard at this point but she had not. She heard later. So, I don't think all the letters get sent at one time from a single audition date at UM. I would not read anything into that one way or the other. She actually was rejected, as were people who heard sooner than she did from the same date.

My d's friend just heard yesterday that he was deferred to UMich. We're in CT.

Thanks. We're waiting to hear from Jan 20, so I was curious.

I was just accepted into the Umich MT program from the January 13th auditions and I heard through my email.

Anyone else whose been accepted should PM me so we can talk about our top choices (mine is CMU) and who we're still waiting to hear from.

Congratulations, Wisconsin!
