University of Michigan or Ohio State?

Scholarships for ACT 32/33 would not be purely merit based. They do offer scholarships with other considerations though. ACT 35 would be the typical threshold for the major departmental scholarships ($20k/year for OOS) as some get it with that score while some don’t.

I would consider decent scholarship for OOS students to be at least $15,000/yr.

I would agree with billcsho though, I think given your ACT it will depend a lot on your family income. But I would still expect upper-middle class family’s to get decent amounts (as I said $15,000+/yr) as long as you’re under a certain threshold. I would guess you’d need a family income below around $200,000, and the higher above that, the less likely you’ll get any aid.

I’m just making these numbers up though based on assumptions.
I would express interest for scholarship and see where that gets you. You have nothing to lose by just writing a quick email.

Are you sure you are dead-set on an MFin program post-graduation? If so, which programs are you looking at?

@yikesyikesyikes maybe MIT or one of the ivy leagues

Michigan would cost you $175K and take one year longer than OSU? If you are from a middle or upper middle class family this really is a no-brainer. You could pay for a masters or doctoral degree in business, law, medical, or graduate school with that money at nearly any uni anywhere. That has far more value that Michigan vs OSU.

Did you get a determination from the FA office yet?

@TooOld4School I don’t know about merit scholarships yet but I didn’t receive financial aid
