University of Michigan or USC?

So I was accepted as a transfer to both and I know it’s super late but I can’t decide where I want to go! I want to major in political science or international relations and complete the rest of my prerequisites for pre-PA. I got roughly the same amount of financial aid for both schools (tuition is covered), but I am concerned about how expensive LA is (especially as a broke college student?). I like Ann Arbor too, but LA seems a lot more vibrant. I’ve also heard that academics are more cutthroat at Michigan. However, I don’t think I’d want to live on the west coast for the rest of my life as I’m from Illinois, and it seems that USC seems better connected there while Michigan seems more connected nationally. So, weighing all these options, which would be the better choice?
