According to this http://www.applytohonors.lsa.umich.edu/#!deadlines–requirements/cq decisions should have beem sent out today

poooooooooooooooooooooooooooop.

This is for the honors LSA program though…this is different from regular admissions into LSA. You must be admitted to LSA in order to apply for the honors LSA program, which has a separate admissions process/decision.

Oh okay, that wasn’t really clear from their admissions page I got the link from

Yall gotta read the description more carefully… Even on UM Admissions’ Tumblr they posted today was for only LSA HONORS. There are still MANY people out there who applied much earlier than you have who still have not received a decision. Chill fam and be patient. People will probably get their decisions at midnight or so.

so have they been sending out rejections also or are they sending them last?

I just had a bad thought: what if they have been planning on sending acceptance emails throughout the week and then rejection emails on Fridays to avoid complaints/questions to admissions office over the weekend?

@uofmPlease‌ now if that’s true, this wait has been for nothing :frowning:

@Digitallyshrewd‌ I could see them doing that for this week and next week, but I’m sure if the was the case they’d send out acceptances on Fridays as well.

What time of day do they usually send decisions out?

@uofmPlease‌ if Friday’s it then maybe it’s all today, yeah?

According to last year’s situations, Michigan would release batch of decisions on Friday and most of them are rejected (from 2018er). But still there were acceptances… While another saying is that those been accepted have been informed yet while the remaining is … =((

So can we assume that if we haven’t heard back yet it’s bad news? Has anyone received a rejection yet? Or are they saving all of those for the end? :-S I applied to LSA November 19th and still haven’t heard anything…

at this point I am just waiting for my rejection lol…

Guys, you have to consider that there are people (like me) who applied on their deadline, February 2nd, and they need more than 6 weeks to review an application with the large amount that they receive. I’m sure that the order of which decisions go out is completely random because there are numerous overly qualified applicants who applied last year that haven’t heard anything yet. Stop worrying until you get your actual decision, which might not come until next month.

Any decisions to be released today?

I applied November 25th and still haven’t heard back. I thought I was supposed to know by yesterday? This is confusing since I have a 4.0 unweighted with 4’s and 5’s on 5 AP’s. I already got accepted to UT, TAMU, GT, and UCSD (with a regents scholarship). Should I be worried?

Heard that u of m releases decisions at 3:00. Let’s play the waiting game

3 pm est?

It’s what I heard from someone who applied ed. And yes est.
