They will email a little later today or tomorrow. Sometimes there is a slight delay.

My S got excepted (on his portal). No e-mail yet. ACT 33, GPA 3.82, Math SAT 800, Physics SAT 740, varsity hockey, jazz guitar, volunteering, research in math.
Also, we are out of state and didn’t ask for financial aid.

i got waitlisted and they said by june we would know but if theres a spot available we will know immediately.
Waitlisted, an international student. SAT I 2120, SAT II math 800 phy 800 che 780 unweighted gpa 3.9 UMich deferred me then put me into waitlist. Although it is my second choice maybe I will not wait anymore… got accepted by U of Rochester.
If we were accepted when do you suppose we will receive our FA info?
@uofmPlease The estimated FA package should show up within next week or two. Make sure you check the document requested link. Note that the FA is not final until they received the document for verification. Congratulations again.
If we’re accepted off the waitlist do we still get as much FA as we would’ve if we were accepted RD?
I’m in a really tough situation with this… if I don’t get into UMich I’m either going to UW-Madison or doing a 6 month volunteer program abroad for a gap year. Madison’s deposit is $100 which is manageable but the volunteer program has a $500 deposit due on May 18th, and that’s a lot to waste if I ended up being accepted by UMich after the fact. Do we think they’ll really push the waitlist process into June? I’m going to get my letter of continued interest sent out asap.

Son waitlisted. Frustrating after this long wait. Grats to those accepted and best of luck to all students and parents as we begin this exciting and important time in our lives. Remember, what makes a college great is it’s people. Strive to be great where ever you end up this Fall. In the end, any certain college doesn’t make you special or great. It is infact YOU that enhances the greatness of a college campus by choosing to attend. Be happy…work hard…succeed!
