I send them an email already, and I will definitely call them if they dont reply soon
hey guys, I have a question for you all, and I would really appreciate if you had any insight to provide me. michigan has been my first choice for the last year or so but the financial aid has not come through. I recently just got into UCLA and Berkeley (coming from OOS California) and my parents are definitely looking at those because of the instate tuition. from each of the two UCs, I’ve received pell grants and gift aid for a total of around $20k per school. how much do you think michigan could probably provide me? I am still 100% on board with michigan, but slowly losing hope because of this money issue…again, any insight would be so insightful. thank you so much.
@cnwu15 You can use their net price calculator to get an estimate http://www.finaid.umich.edu/TopNav/Resources/NetPrice.aspx
@yoyoyo1234 I haven’t received one either but it may be because they changed my application type from New Freshman to New Transfer/New Grad, which they claimed was because I attended a Summer Session at Yale, so this may actually be a problem and I’m not sure if it’s why you’re still waiting for a decision too but I hope we get it soon…
I just called them and they said they hvn’t made the decision yet… This is killing me lol
no, we did not decision. we should know by mid-april at the latest. not all decisions sent out. time to be patient, we’ve come this far.
Anyone know wt is taking them so long to decide? Is it a good or bad sign?
Waitlisted
@eternalwait ouch, sorry dude. I really hope their WL acceptance rate is good.
@yoyoyo1234 i assume its just a high number of applicants but not sure on what that means for us right now. The anxiety, however, is killing me - especially after already receiving 3 rejections in a row.
Waitlisted - 3.6 GPA, 2320 SAT (oos)
To others waitlisted, not to be a killjoy or anything, but in the past couple of years UMich has accepted 1-3% of those who took a place on the waitlist. I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you.
I got in!
@containthektaken They hardly admit any in the wait list because they overenroll too many. This year should be different.
Accepted
GPA unweighted: 3.56
ACT: 32
4th waitlist…
Does anyone know if they have a set time to release admission? And did anyone who apply on Feb 1 get any decision yet?
Applied Jan 26- Waitlisted @jareva
If that helps…
Waitlist! @matt846
