Hi after getting back all of my acceptances and rejections I have narrowed it down between UM and Udub. I have always loved UM but unfortunately was rejected from Ross which is making my decision a lot harder. I know there are different pathways to business at UM besides Ross but I am not sure how this will affect internships/job search. I was admitted to the University of Washington direct to business admin with a small (but still helpful) 3000 scholarship. My family is able to pay for both schools out of state. If Michigan was cheaper I would probably go there, but I am not sure if the degree is worth it since I was not admitted to Ross. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
A few things. First, they are both great. Second, it is very hard to find any campus as pretty as Udub, including famous east coast universities. Third, it is hard to find any campus as lively as Michigan’s. School spirit there is amazing, and it is diverse. People from all walks of life love it.
As for the Ross rejection, I think econ at the liberal arts college would actually be more interesting and open just as many doors.
