University of Michigan Waitlist 2024

I sent the link but it says its getting moderated, but just search on reddit pretty sure u can find it

You should be able to PM the links to each other. If only one dude on Reddit, it would be very unlikely BTW. If something like this actually happened, which I really doubt, you would hear from more then one isolated case. Plus as stated they would go to their waitlist over the rejected list
If you look at the stats of people being wait listed vs rejected vs accepted… Well… It all seems to look the same. There is some old fashion luck ??in play here.

how do u pm on this? lmao. yea it could be fake not sure but the guy seemed genuine. yea hopefully luck favours me this one time

Press on someone’s name. It will say “message” then write… You can pm more then one person also. They will get an alert (email) that you pm’d them.

I believe there is still hope for the waitlist guys. Praying to get in!!

I think it’s fake. Anyway, it couldn’t be a trend. They have like 12,000 people on the waitlist. We need to calm down.

LSA pls soon

Do they really have that many on the waitlist for LSA-12,000?

I think 12000 for the whole UM

I think they had 11k last year. They accepted more than their typical yield, so probably had a bigger waitlist too. Or at least equal. Who knows, but I doubt they would have run through their waitlist. We are evidence of that after all.

I believe Michigan will notify the waitlist this coming week or the week after.

O please don’t let us wait for one more week

From what my AO has told me, we will hear back by June 30th. That is when we will learn that we are being rejected or possibly accepted.

@katebee1 if we hear back on that date, we will more than likely be rejected.

have a feeling they’re going to release a couple next week for obvious reasons

if you haven’t hear back from them by the end of this month, you’re most likely not getting off the waitlist ?

Good luck to all. Seems we have two weeks at most left to wait.

“And the University of Michigan has 7,298 deposits from freshmen, while the target is 7,182.”

@Maduka that’s unfortunate- however, you have to factor in the fact that more of those students will be in-state and that will result in a significant loss of money, hopefully meaning they will go above their target

I have an OOS sophomore in LSA - many sophomores may take a semester or year off if UMich decides to go online &/or hybrid. I’m not sure if this will open up other space for freshman.

@schmendy27 before, michigan’s target is about 6900, so they kinda did go above their target

and they get most of their money from football and hospital so i don’t think tuition is that big of a factor (tho it is big)
