I would be a transfer student, I'm currently at U of M Duluth and have completed 75ish credits. I want to finish my accounting degree at the U of M CSOM.

Cumulative GPA: 3.3
UMD GPA: 3.7
Accounting GPA: 3.7
ACT: 26

Tool Course (prerequisites) Grades:
Macro: A
Micro: A-
Calc: B+

The Good:

I have 4 letters of recommendation. 3 are from CPAs and 1 from an attorney. I read the letter from my professor/CPA and it stated I had the highest final exam score in one of my accounting classes, which I figure looks good.

I figure to have a pretty strong paper. My dad died when I was seven and I worked to support my family at the age of 15. I was going to write about growing up quickly and detail how I worked a summer, giving all my paychecks to my mom, in order to keep us afloat when she sought disability after being injured at work.

I have lots of work experience (worked since I was 14).

I kept busy with boxing, MMA, playing in a band, etc.

I have over 50 hours volunteer services (churches, foodshelf, community events)

Business school/UMD GPA is pretty good, shows I improved my grades.

The Bad:

Almost no club experience in highschool, no NHS, etc.

Cumulative GPA could be better.

I have a good deal of credits. I've heard they tend to like students who come in earlier in their college career.
