APs senior year: Photography, Human Geography, Macroeconomics, Government, English Literature
I am in involved in varsity lacrosse, religious youth groups, National Honor Society, volunteer work and other extracurriculars and have held various leadership positions in all of these. PLEASE BE HONEST!
@maddie2457 it seems like you’re right in the range with your act. Your sat is a little low, might be right to not Include it. UMN doesn’t superscore but I sent in 2 act scores that did superscore to a 30 but I also wanted them to see my improvement. It’s just a thought. I had a friend who was recently admitted to Carlson with similar statistics although we are instate which is a little less competitive than out of state. I think you have a decent chance to get in. I would say that writing the essays gives them a better idea of who you are as a student which can be beneficial for your application! You’ve taken rigorous coursework and your involvement is great! Keep us updated with how it turns out and good luck!
