University of New England?

It's in Maine. Does the world even know it exists? It's one of the 366 best schools in the U.S.

I think I really, really want to go there; it has everything I want. Does anybody know anything more about it?

It doesn't even have a board here, I don't think.

Kayleealia, I know of someone who recently looked at (and applied)to the school and I have heard really liked it a lot. Looked at a number of other schools also but liked this one the best. Don't really know too much else.

go to western new england its much better!

unless you want to be on the ocean.

Are you looking at the Biddeford or Portland campus? Have you visited?

The school is well known in New England - not so much outside, but don't let that deter you. If you like the school and what it has to offer you go for it!

Kayleealia - will you need financial aid? If so, proceed with caution. UNE graduates students with a very high average debt load nearly 40,000$ in 2006.

Project on Student Debt: Home

University of New England
Average Debt of Graduates 2006 $ 39,014
Average Debt of Graduates 2005 $ 37,507
Proportion of Graduates w/debt 2006 87%

I'm currently a student at the University of New England, so far it is really an amazing school, especially for those interested in the sciences.
The classes are well structured and the campus is astounding (I'm at the Biddeford campus)

beita7, I’m curious. Is UNE a suitcase school? Meaning does everyone go home on weekends?
