i’m not positive, but i think i read in the college search forum that native american, hispanic and african-american are the top 3 URM’s at most schools.</p>

<p>As I applied to Syracuse, I would say Newhouse is one of the best schools for public relations I saw - if this is the communications school @ Syracuse then it is one of the best ranked colleges of communication in the country - good luck!</p>
<p>hawkswim09 - im korean. how is the korean population in ND? A friend of mine who got accepted 2 years ago told me that its not that big… are there stereotypes and discrimination for korean or asian students?</p>
<p>i believe someone said that Asians make up 7% of the Notre Dame population - unfortunately in society there are stereotypes, but I would be surprised if any real discrimination is held against any minority student. Obviously no matter where you go, there will be students who do play into stereotypes, but personally have not seen any forms of major discriminating - though there are the unfortunate jokes, though jokes against white race are used as well.</p>
<p>Chrissmith I will mostly likely go seeing that was the only college my college advisor let me apply to early since he thought that it is “unethical” to apply to several college early.</p>
