Congrats to those who got in, and to those who didn’t, remember that it’s all a crapshoot at this high level. If someone is in a bad mood when they read your application, you aren’t getting in. Sad but true. You all have value and you WILL find where you belong.
Just wanted to say that I appreciate how encouraging and supportive everyone has been. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted, it truly is an accomplishment. To those who weren’t, remember that you are still incredible and will accomplish great things.

Son is Waitlisted. Not really sure what wait listed means besides a waiting game. 34 ACT, 5.2 Weighted GPA 8A State Football Championship. Baseball. Captains. NHS President. Catechist Aide at our church. Recommendations could put a tear in your eye. Not really sure what else he could have done. But…REALLY HAPPY for those who did get in. Wouldn’t mind someone explaining how a WL works???
ND was my first rejection. I was expecting it, but it’s still a bummer. Congrats to everyone that was accepted, you must feel so great and you should! This is an amazing accomplishment.

My sister was waitlisted 4 years ago. Waitlisted means that the student was close too/fit the criteria but there wasn’t a spot open. Many accepted students might decline and a spot can open up. My sister didn’t hear back until late April-ish. However, she did end up getting in! She was on deans list and will now be attending Columbia for dental school this fall! To all waitlisted people, don’t give up! Write a letter to let them know you’re still interested!
