Btw my stats are:
3.7 W GPA (probably 3.5 UW)
33 superscore ACT (34 E, 29 M, 35 S, 33 W)
1420 SAT (710 and 710)
Good EC’s. Played soccer since 1st grade on varsity team. Participated in Ultimate frisbee clubs and tournaments. Teacher in a programs that teaches kids from a public school how to read and write. Developed and designed an automated irrigation system for a public school and wrote grants to raise funds for the needed materials. Won 1st place in an international debate competition where I am now director of a comittee. Participated in talent shows and was finalist in a national music competition. Played major roles in school plays.
Overall, I feel that my stats are a bit under average, but I felt that my application was strong and my essays were authentic and unique. Especially for the ND supplements. I really poured my heart into those.
I wish you all good luck and will post my decision when it is available!
@jpmantica VERY WELL DONE! VERY UNIQUE! My S’s stats are high but his ECs are not like yours. YOURS ARE WONDERFUL! His would be 5.2 Weighted GPA; 4.03/4.0 UW; 34 Superscored ACT; Football for 10 years, Captain, 8A State Champ with Highest GPA, Baseball, Baseball Captain, 3 NHSs including President, Catholic School Cathechist Aid. Essays would be rated 10. Hoping to see you in the Fall!
@CatherineF Thank you for your kind words! There are lots of opportunities to do small but meaningful things in a third world country. I’m from Nicaragua. Your son has incredible stats! Amazing! Hope to see you soon!
No. It will be Monday at 642 PM. YOU MIGHT get lucky if you call the admissions office Monday and have a preexisting relationship with your geographic assigned admission rep. I would suggest waiting as the joy of watch your child read the acceptance email is second to none. My D is a sophomore in the College of Science Neuroscience and Behavior pre more student.

The one that you would confirm your acceptance with if you were in. During the EA round some people (the accepted ones) could access it before decisions came out.
Does anyone know how many deferred people get in? I was deferred early action. Yesterday I got into Washington University. Notre Dame is my top choice. I’m so nervous about decisions.
@aleg Congrats! Notre Dame is also my top choice, but yesterday I was rejected by Washington University and today I was rejected by the University of Chicago. Things are not looking good.
@ak9800 Thank you. Admissions is a very stressful time. Don’t be discouraged I keep telling myself I will end up where I’m supposed to be, but Notre Dame just felt like home. Were you deferred EA?
@aleg Yes, I was deferred EA. So far I’ve gotten in to Boston College, Santa Clara, Gonzaga, and the University of Washington. I like Boston College, but I’m not sure about its urban location. They say that there is no such thing as a perfect college, but Notre Dame has just seemed like the absolute perfect school for me since I visited it 3 years ago.
@ak9800 Yes, WashU is in the top 3. I went to a camp at Boston College last summer and really enjoyed being there. I have been to Notre Dame on 3 different occasions and every time loved it more. I’m with you Notre Dame just seems perfect.
Is it true that it is easier to get into ND RD compared to EA? People say so, but it seems hard to believe when the EA acceptance rate is around 33% while the RD is <20%.
