Most of the posts are on the top end of the averages for test scores and other qualifying criteria. Taking what was written on this thread and averaging them out would make the academic scores for, say the ACT, between 34 and 36 when the 50 percentile is really 30 to 34. Which means that there are quite a few people with 28 - 29 or 35 - 36. Most of the people who post here are either a) pumping themselves up (lying), b) high achievers who are using it as a forum to boast or c) posters who did not get into UPenn but are using this as some sort of joke. I wanted to get a feel for what my daughter’s chances are for admission. IMHO, this thread is probably not the best place to gauge that.</p>
