University of Pennsylvania Class of 2014 RD Decisions

Hey guys. I was accepted to Penn Class of 2014. I have a question. On the online reply page where it says either “I Accept” or “I Do not Accept” I’ve accepted the offer. It says that my enrollment deposit fee was waived. A screen does appear immediately after I hit submit which says that it confirmed my enrollment; however, when I refresh the Online Reply page after that, it still seems as if I need to submit again. Is this a problem? My Housing Application seems to have been submitted perfectly. But I have not received any email confirming my enrollment.
Has anyone experienced a problem like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Don’t worry, it did that when I pushed the reply in december. Just go back the the applicant portal to make sure it has the fee checked off (I think it still would even if it was waived).

Reflection
Strengths: Very well rounded, with academics, community service, athletics, and music
Weaknesses: I fail to be one of those super people with 2400 SAT scores who have created their own businesses and spend their summers in Africa building houses and water wells. I felt like I was the average candidate applying to these schools, with nothing that really stood out.
Why do you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Luck, well-rounded, strong essays
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected:

Accepted: UNC Chapel Hill, UVA, Emory, Davidson, Mary Washington, Penn
Rejected: Stanford

twoodard - After reading your ECs and stats, I’m humbled that I got into both SEAS and BFS as well. We both have our strengths, but I think your application must have blown mine out of the water!

my sat was actually 2360*

@whartongrad2014.

I don’t mean to be offensive or anything but how do you live in California and survive on an income of 30k. That is well below the poverty line, especially in a state with such a high standard of living.

don’t feed the ■■■■■…

ok, yeah in retrospect that makes sense, his stats seemed just a little too great, and why in the world would he post this in august. The scary part is that there really are people out there with such outstanding apps, makes me feel like I don’t have a chance.

^ haha yeah, I know what you mean. luckily, universities understand potential!

income is less than 30k but there is money in the bank

pm me if u have questions so i can assure u i am not a ■■■■■

haha, yeah your not a ■■■■■, how do you handle traveling across the country getting your name out there and taking 7 AP courses with community college courses, you are obviously a ■■■■■, or a superhuman

community college classes were the summer before 12th, but on my transcripts it has it has fall semester of 12th grade… most of the ap’s i took have easy teachers so its about 4 hours a day max? but everyone does bad on the exams but thats not a prob for me cause i was a senior. that explains my workload i guess

Wow Wharton2014, did you have normal childhood. are you a real kid or superhuman? What about having fun?

hes a typical ■■■■■, im surprised at how gullible you all can be.

Does anybody else think that 75% of the posters here are full of it?
