I want to major in neuroscience (or biology with an emphasis on neuroscience), minor in economics, and do pre-med electives.
i've heard plenty of great things about university of pittsburgh's neuroscience program, but i wanted to get other people's opinions on how it matches up with other colleges.
here are some other colleges on my list:
brandeis
case western reserve
university of wisconsin - madison
university of michigan - ann arbor
university of rochester
bates
wake forest
indiana u (i live in indiana)
NYU
university of illinois - urbana

my stats are:
uw gpa: 3.5
weighted gpa: 3.8
SAT composite: 1940 (i'm hoping to get it past 2000 at least this coming october. hopefully it will be 2100)
math + cr: 1320

How would you compare some of the colleges life science programs (i want a school that's good not only in neuroscience, but all of life science as well..just in case i change my major. even if i do change my major i know i would still be in the life science field) to the one at upitt?
