Well great. Now my day is shot while D23 hits refresh!
She checked her portal and neither of us can recall for certain what was there before but it def does not say waiting decision now. I feel like maybe this change happened a few days ago - before their first wave of announcements?
Is this a super recent change to your kids’ portals? Or is it just that you haven’t checked them super recently?
The change had to have happened within the last 2-3 days. It used to say “awaiting decision”. Now there is literally NOTHING - just his application with all the documents submitted. Luckily my son isn’t worked up…I’m the one refreshing the page! HA HA HA.
I just scrolled back through this thread. So our D23 hasn’t heard yet but this change to her portal happened a while ago - back before the first wave of acceptances came out - maybe 2-3 days before then.
But it could be different for others.
We had convinced ourselves that the slight change in portal status (went from “awaiting decision” to no status at all…) was a sign that a decision was coming out within 24 hours! NOPE. Ha.

Still waiting here (diff major). Last year my other kid heard mid Jan. So not optimistic it will be soon.
Another wave just released. DD was accepted into Nursing. OOS
DD was also just accepted into Arts and Sciences/Undeclared, OOS, 33K (over 4 years).
My kid in to arts with scholarship. Just heard in new wave
So sad - still no news for D23. This is one of her top two and she’s waiting on the other one too. Both EA. Ah well!

Thank you this helps! Also my D23 applied for Biology and that seems to be a tougher major for admissions at some schools. But who knows.
She applied TO, 3.9UW and out of state. But she has some unique downsides to her transcript that make results hard to predict.
Ugh, sorry - it all starts to feel random and frustrating! My daughter is waiting on other schools that several people I know have heard from already. But URI is one of her top two as well, and that definitely takes the stress off.
still waiting here too. it’s my son’s top choice for the pharmd program.
Hopefully she hears by the end of this week. DD emailed her URI AO last week and was told some of the decisions are being released within the next two weeks. I know exactly how you and your D23 feels, my DD was just moved from Fast Track to RA for U Tampa. She applied there in mid September and waited for months. It is such a relief to know where she stands now without worrying constantly and waiting for the decision to come.

D23 in for Nursing 3.9UW, active EMT cadet, leadership (Captain etc)
Again, I’m so grateful we aren’t the only ones waiting. It feels kind of lonely even though I know this is part of the expected process.
If it makes you feel better older kid got in last year I think second week in Jan. So date of release means nada. Good luck
As of this morning, he hasn’t heard yet whether he has been accepted to URI. He was accepted to UMass-Dartmouth and UMaine. We live in MA.
