@rockyc Really? Wow! Quite the coincidence!
@britlass I have not received it either…
I emailed UR admissions last night and received a reply today. Apparently they had sent me an email which I don’t seem to have received (checked spam folder too) so they they resent the email. Yay! so if you have not received it I would recommend reaching out to them. Now I have to think what to write! Yikes !
For the ED II people who watch this thread, I hope your result today was great news.
did anyone else recieve the “invitation only” Invite from Richmond?
My D did get in ED2, yay! Big surprise though!
@HSsenior321 What did the “invitation only” invite say? Just curious.
@cloudysmom it says it’s a talk with a Richmond alumni about “all things Richmond” but specifies that it’s by invite only and says to rsvp by email
Ok, that might be for RD, we were ED. I know they send letters to RD applicants parents, the ED applicants didn’t get that either.
If I got an email asking me to come to campus to audition for a music scholarship am I into the school?
Does anyone know when the decisions will be released?
Do ALL RD applicants get letters? Is it detrimental if our parents do not respond?
Does UR send letters on April 1st? Or should we receive our mail around the end of March before April?
@viewsfromthe415 @Rwoo24 Last year they sent it out almost 2 weeks before April 1st. So it’s likely you’ll hear back sometime in the last one to two weeks of March.
@viewsfromthe415 It does not hurt your child if you don’t send a letter, absolutely! Completely voluntary, but might help them get to know your child a bit better if you do.
Decisions are mailed, not emailed & you should probably hear the last week or so in March. Good luck!
I’m both anxious and excited to hear back! I’m pretty appreciative of URich’s traditional way of letting us know…I can’t wait to rip open that envelope! Best of luck to everyone (:
Hi everyone! I need some help. I just got a letter from the university with the following information:
“March has arrived, and with it comes a special version of “March Madness” for high school seniors. As you wait to hear from the colleges on your list, we hope we might satisfy your curiosity, at least in regard to your application status at the University of Richmond. Because of your stellar application and strong potential for contribution to our community, you will receive a thick envelope in just a few weeks.”
It also talks about how I’m slated for the Presidential Scholars award and dates for admitted student programs. I don’t want to get too excited because it doesn’t explicitly say “Congrats” or “You’re in!” anywhere…but does this mean I am??
@pinkspider17 I received the same letter. Yes, I think it’s safe to say that it’s a likely letter given that a scholarship offer is only given to outstanding candidates. Congrats!
@mackyg Oh wow…I’m so happy :’) Congrats to you too!!!
Wow! Congrats to you both! There is a separate thread for Richmond Scholars if you’d like to meet some others.
Pinkspider and Mackyg congrats to you both! Would you be willing to share your stats?
