Daughter was Richmond semifinalist so she was notified that she was admitted, but no snail mail package yet… hopefully there is a Presidential Scholarship in there…

Thre’s another thread on CC that gives March 27 as date for admit notification, for those RD applicants who aren’t Richmond Scholars. Via snail mail, I assume? Anyone have any other info?

Admissions indicated that all students should receive notification before April 1 and to watch their admissions blog for when they send them. They said they get sent all at once, but in order to get to west coast students before April 1, they would have to ship before March 27 because it’s four days to the west coast.

UR Admissions just tweeted that decision letters went in the mail at 4:00 pm today. Best of luck everyone!

I applied for financial aid and had everything in on time but something still says pending review, does that mean bad news is heading my way as far as my admissions decision? Anyone else worried about this?

I’m availing my decision because I was Waitlisted at the Villanova School of Business…hopefully this turns out better.

If the letters were sent late yesterday, did anyone in VA receive their letters today?

maggie, where do you see “pending review”? is it under the status column for one of the financial aid requirements?

also, does anyone else have an “academic progress” tab under financial aid? searching through tea leaves for clues here haha

@gocollege14 i live in maryland (2.5 hours away from UR) and haven’t gotten my letter yet, but im expecting it tomorrow!

@sootylion yes it’s under the financial aid requirements and i believe I also have an academic progress tab

@Maggiedivecc all of my financial aid documents say “yes satisfied”. im not sure if my documents ever said “pending review” though so i wouldnt draw a conclusion either way…
