So I am applying to both UofR and Clark and I need to know before applying ED to on if they are LGBT+ friendly. I know they are in a more liberal region of the US but I don't want to go to a school where they hate me because I'm gay. I just want to know how people feel in general about the LGBT+ at the schools and if I am going to be miserable because I can't get a boyfriend or people don't associate with me. I really like both of the schools so any response will help. Also, not trying to say that I have heard otherwise, I just haven't heard anything about either school's LGBT+ community and I want to be sure that I will be happy.

I’m a sophomore at the U of Rochester and everyone is extremely open to LGBT. You will be very happy, it’s a very welcoming and friendly (but competitive and hard working) environment.

Clark --Quite possibly one of the more LGBT - friendly. Options w housing, health insurance, etc.
Rochester – very open and welcoming
