University of Rochester Chances?

<p>I think it's a huge reach but I'm just curious to see what you guys think.</p>

<p>Academics:
GPA unweighted: 3.3
GPA weighted: 3.9
IB student(I am taking the hardest classes my school has to offer)
Class rank: top 29%
My academic performance has improved significantly since freshman year.</p>

<p>SAT: 2000
Reading: 650
Math: 660
Writing: 690</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
150+ volunteer hours, administrative positions in two clubs, member of four others
Shadowed several surgeons,
Trilingual, foreign born U.S. citizen, unique culture(eastern European)</p>

<p>Also Rochester sent me an email inviting me to be interviewed. Should I go for it? Will it have a significant impact on my admission decision?</p>

<p>I should also add that I applied via out of state regular decision</p>

<p>Not a huge reach at all. Average SAT score is approx 1960. Your GPA could be better but it’s a match school for you.</p>

<p>Take the interview. UofR is very big on interest (or so I’ve heard) and one of my friends drive up from oos to visit, applied Ed, and was accepted They score ur interview, and it can help you, plus it shows interest. You can also take a tour and sit in on classes to show further interest.</p>
