I want to be on the pre-med track; which college has the better program and which one should I attend?

both are about equal academically so go to the school you like better.

Well. I throught you have decided. Sorry about that!

I second bobbobbob. They are pretty much the same in term of academics, but kind of different on other aspects. Did you visit both campus or talk to their current students? They can tell you more about the campus life.

Well, I really like U of Rochester. It has a really nice and clean campus. I like the people there. However, the biggest problem for me is the distance. It took seven hours for me to drive there. Also, when I got there Sunday, it seems downtown rochester is real, REAL, quiet. I couldn't even find a good place to eat.

I also really like Brandeis. I just don't like the enormous Jewish Population there. Plus they gave me more money.

Which school has more reputation?

I would choose U Rochester.

BTW downtown Rochester restaurants are quiet on Sunday but there is plenty to do at downtown museums and concerts, and shopping on Sunday in the suburbs. There are restaurants open near U of R on Sunday on Mt Hope Avenue. On Saturday, try Dinosaur Barbeque near U of R downtown along the Genesee River (Court St??).

I'd choose URochester as well.

The campus is pretty, the Eastman school nearby, and you get a free fifth year if you feel like you did not get a broad-based education.
