ARE YOU WONDERING ABOUT FINANCIAL AID??? LOOK AT THIS POST!
Lol. Ok, people keep asking the same questions about financial aid.
You do not receive any aid notifications with your acceptance.
If you are awarded a merit scholarship you will receive an email a few days later (if you are accepted on a Friday you will probably receive an email on Tuesday). The email will tell you that you have been awarded a merit scholarship and to log into your myROC account. When you lig in, under your name, it will say what scholarship and how much you were given.
The need based aid comes even later (about a week later). You will receive another email saying that your financial aid is available to view. They will give you a student ID number and direct you to a NEW website. You will use your ID to create an account, and you will be able to view your merit and need based aid all in that account on that website.
Daughter (URM and double legacy) still on step 4, sort of like Schrodinger’s cat. They say on Tumblr smaller batches are coming soon. I suspect that many of the last batches will be wait-listed or rejections, but that is just my guess. Certainly they do not represent outright, immediate rejections, or they would have sent them by now, so that’s a small comfort. Looking forward to May 2.
So, on the decision pop up, it says error, and I can’t see the letter. However, on the side of the portal it shows an admission reply form. Did I get accepted?
When I got my acceptance my portal still said I was on step 4 and didn’t actually update to step 5 until like a week or so after I got my letter. So the portal is definitely not 100% up to date haha and doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t get a decision soon
@antonioavocado1 yes, I think you got accepted so congratulations! Because I could see my letter yesterday and now it’s showing an error. There’s also the admission reply form so congratulations again
