Hi! Sorry I won’t answer all questions, but I applied to Rochester too. I really hope to get in, though I’m really scared that my SAT score may hurt my chances. I got 1860 but I hope my secondary school transcripts will prove that I’m quite intelligent(I don’t mean to sound conceited). I applied RD to study Biomedical Eng, did an interview and I think my essay was okay. Can March get here already!!
I am applying because I fell in love with the campus and everything about the school, and I can picture myself being there for the next four years. I am applying to the dual degree in nursing program to major in nursing and business administration. Some of the other schools I applied to are St. John Fisher, Nazareth, Le Moyne, and the Ohio State University. Can’t wait for letters to be sent!
I’m hoping to major in linguistics. I’ve been going to an arts high school for acting, so I’m really interested in pursuing the Stage Management Certificate at Rochester!
My app is still on step 2…eek…the waiting…
Anyway, good luck to all of you! I know we’ll all end up at a place that’s good for us.
My son applied regular decision. He had a good interview in our area in the fall. His rep.was very informative and helpful. He would like to study biology. He has a 4.6 weighted GPA and 33 superscored act. He has been accepted to the university of Pittsburgh, Ohio state, and villanova. Waiting to hear from BU, BC, and some others. Rochester is the smallest school he has applied to, and there seems to be so much offered there. So many strengths. We haven’t visited but will if he’s accepted. He’s an accomplished percussionist.
I was just reading last year’s RD thread. People started posting acceptances on March 3rd, but FYI, they did not get merit and finanical aid info until later.
