My son is a sophomore and we are starting to look at colleges. We are flying into Charlotte then will drive to Columbia, SC. We are going to the Georgia- South Carolina football game and will tour the University of South Carolina. I would like to tour another school on Sunday. We are flying out of Charlotte that evening. I am leaning towards visiting Furman and Wofford. Any suggestions of other schools would be appreciated.

If you give some ideas of stats and interest I might be able to give more ideas. Do you mean just self tour? Not sure these schools will have Sunday tours. If high stats might consider Davidson. Be sure and do some google mapping for travel time. If You can get up to Greenville early enough there’s a nice downtown to see as well as the Furman campus
Clemson?
Clemson is further than you think from Columbia when you also have to get to charlotte. Wofford is probably the easiest and shortest if you make a loop

A further drive but what about Elon?
Limestone and Queens are close to the Charlotte airport.
He is entering his sophomore year. School does not rank but overall average is 90 at a competitive high school. He tests well as he did on the entrance exam for high school.
