University of Southern California

I’m in love with USC and will do everything I can to get accepted so I just wanted to know what anyone thought of my chances and specifically what I can do to improve my application. I’m currently a junior

I know the most important thing is to improve throughout your high school years and I believe I have. Freshmen year I got As, Bs and 1 C in Math. Sophomore year I got all Bs and a B in math. Junior year I’m hoping to get all As including senior year as well. And I’m gonna get tutored for the SAT and ACT. I’m hoping to get a real good score that can maybe be an advancement for me within my application. I’m also really involved I’ve done a few sports and clubs. I’ve been president for one of the clubs as well. And I’ve done a lot of community service. I’m also Hispanic. During my sophomore year, I had gone through a lot of problems and a family tragedy which in someway had affected my grades. My guidance counselor told me to talk about it in my essay. I don’t know if I should, but she told me it might show them why I had lacked somewhat in my grades.

Please tell me my chances and if so, what I can improve the most! Thank you.
