University of Toronto

oh its really not that important at all, the most imp thing about your college is registrar stuff, other than that it doesnt really matter (unless you're going to live in res)

well i kind of have to live there cause im from california

even if you're going to live in res, you'll have a lot of friends from other colleges, in the end i don't think it's a big deal what your college is, and besides a lot of ppl move out of res after first year

cool, im so relieved, i was just afraid of trinity cause people said they wear like robes or something to class and do other weird stuff like that

lool no not at all

oh god i must sound positively crazed....i swear i read this somewhere though

so does anyone know where to find out how competitive each major is?

i've been looking all over for this info, but unfortunately i didn't find anything.

I wanted to ask did anyone get an entrance scholarship? and if yes, then which college had you applied to?

WHat is the difference b/w the Mississauga campus, St.George campus and Scarborough campus? WHICH ONE IS THE BEST FOR management/accounting and why?

will appreciate replies.

I have no idea which is best for management/accounting, but in terms of location, St. George is much better. The St. George campus is located right in the middle of Toronto, and you easily get pretty much anywhere in the city by subway. Scarborough is much farther east, whereas Mississauga is much farther west, and isn't even subway accessible. Why would anyone want to be in suburbia?

xbisoubisoux - yes, Trinity college does ask students to wear robes to dinner, but a lot of people just don't bother. I was told that Trin is kind of the most prestigious, because it's been traditionally the "old money" school.

kitkattail besides the location, im talking about the campus quality of education, is there any difference b/w st george and msisissauga?

St. George is considered the best campus because of it's location and because it's been there forever. It has this sort of prestige attached to it. However, for business programs, Scarborough has co-op programs whereas St. George doesn't. So, if co-op experience is important to you, then Scarborough's the one to pick. I applied for Finance and I picked St. George. Rotman school of business is down there too. Downtown Toronto is where you want to be if you're living in Toronto.

hey, I'm a somphore, canadian citzen living in the us. What do I need to do to get in? I have about a 4.0 right now. AP or IB? which is better? I am obsessed with going to U of T and studying business. What do I need to do?

What are your SAT scores, you're sort of an international student so they would look at them, if they don't then I think you're fine b/c all they go on is gpa and 4.0 is good, obviously. They don't really care about AP vs. IB I think, all my friends did AP though.
