University of Washington or Penn State for Chem Engineering?

Hey everyone. I've recently been accepted into both of these great universities but I'm unsure of which one to attend to.

I'm planning on majoring in Chem Eng (or maybe EE), and I was wondering which one of these two would be the best pick. I've hear good things about PSU's alumni networks, but my counselor has been telling me UW is more prestigious. I'm also wondering how my chances of landing a job after college will be affected after graduating from either of these two.

same question.

Do you have direct admission to ChemE at UW? If not, it is a very competitive admission process to the major in spring of freshman year or winter of sophomore year.

http://www.cheme.washington.edu/undergraduate_students/prosp_ug/earlyadm.html
http://www.cheme.washington.edu/undergraduate_students/prosp_ug/upperadm.html

Ditto for EE.

You can see admission stats for previous years here, and filter by major and for early or upper admission cycle:

I would pick UW over PSU if you are remotely interested in Molecular Engineering.
