Asian Male, also had a relatively serious medical issue that was mentioned in all of my applications that affected some of my grades (thus low GPA and very light course load). Just to give you an idea, I was accepted to Purdue (College of Science) and University of Pittsburgh (Computer Science) so far.

Should also add that my essays were excellent.

Hm…I’d say it’s around a high match. Your SAT is well fit for the university but your GPA is on the low side. But I think since you have a good music career, you should be good. Don’t worry.

Anyone else?

I’ll also say a high match. Your GPAs are slightly lower than average, but hopefully your SATs, ECs and essay make up for it.

Bump (please be honest too – if it’s an unrealistic goal, tell me!).

Bump

You will definitely get into this university. Your extracurriculars show dedication and talent, and your SAT and PSAT scores are great. However, your GPA is sort of low, but honestly I will bet that you can get into this school. They accept 55% of students anyways and your SAT scores and extracurriculars will balance out your GPA. Was there a particular reason to why it’s not high? Write about it in your essay if it’s a family problem or such. Chance me back please?

You have a pretty good chance of getting in since your stats look all right. Even though your gpa is on the lower side, you have a valid reason for your grades and not as competitive courses. Your SAT should be fine and colleges know when some schools are more difficult to get good grades in. Congrats on your other acceptions so far!

Chance Back please?
