University of Washington vs NYU vs UC Irvine

I'm debating which college would be the best to attend in terms of undergraduate health sciences. I'm a California resident so I would have to pay out of state tuition for UWash, but in terms of schools ( size, classes, rank, campus, education value) what would you guys choose?

** I also heard med schools don't really care which college you go to, so going to a competitive college may be a disadvantage. Is that true?

ok first i would not go to NYU… what’s the point of going there with terrible finaid when you aren’t going to be in one of their best programs like stern or tisch?

i would choose UW over UC Irvine if the costs were similar (ie both OOS), but UC Irvine is going to be wayyyyy cheaper for you.

if money is an issue at all go to UCI. if it isn’t as much of a concern, i would go to UW.

I got into UWash as a Medical Anthropology major and UCI as a Public Health Science major. I know UWash is known for its Medical programs for grad school. Which one would be better for me if I wanted to apply to med school in the future?

I would give a slight advantage to UDub for health sciences, but not a $20,000 per year advantage. You could even take $5,000 of that $20,000 difference each year while at Irvine and hire a private tutor to help you through some of your tough pre-med weeder courses.

UCI is a top 50 school and you are in state, enough said.
