I live in Ohio which means i would get in-state tuition. I was wondering what there college of engineering was like and if it was a respectable program. I intend to major in Computer Science and minor in finance. My ACT is a 23 and I have a 3.6 GPA. How does UWV compare to other schools I’m considering: Akron, Cincinnati, Toledo. Any information to help me in my college selection would help!
Does everyone who lives in Ohio get instate rates at UWV? Or just those who live in bordering counties?
Will your parents pay the instate COA for UWV? How much is it? About $22k per year?
My cousin’s son went to UWV for eng’g and he’s done well. I’m guessing that their CS program is adequate.
A bigger concern is your GPA and ACT score. Are you prepared for all the math required?
What level of math will you be taking senior year? What have your math grades been so far?

It sounds like many of these schools will not be affordable.
YOU can only borrow $5,500 for frosh year. And your stats aren’t high enough for merit.
I took AP Calc as a Junior and senior year I will take a semester of stats because thats the only math left…all ohio gets instate rates at WVU
