OP, this is a simple case of probability. All these schools that promise to meet need are incredibly competitive (10% or below odds for internationals seeking aid). The more schools you apply to, the better your chances of getting into one. Your list is still composed of very competitive schools and it is still possible that you will end up with no options come March.

@momrath Yes, I did. I ran the NPC for Penn and it shows my estimated net price as $8,123 and the estimated remaining cost is $4,823.
@International95 My high school places a limit on the number of colleges we can apply to. Maximum of 9, including a maximum of 3 Ivies. I’ve already applied to Penn so I’ve exhausted one Ivy and can apply to 8 other colleges. No options in March won’t be a very big problem since I’ll be applying to colleges in my home country as well, although the US is my first preference. The colleges here have conditions for admission based on your A level results and hopefully I’ll be able to meet that condition. That’s actually why I’m applying to more reach schools.

Good luck and let us know how things turn out with Penn.

I will, definitely! Thank you for all the help and advice. @momrath

good luck and do let us know :)

@momrath @MYOS1634 As it turns out, I don’t have to apply to any more colleges. Got admitted to Penn. So relieved! Thank you for your help and advice! Really appreciate it.

That’s terrific. Congratulations! Did Penn come through with the money?

Thank you! Not yet. They’ll notify me on Monday. Let’s hope I get enough to meet my need. Thanks again

So, did you hear back? What was the offer?
I bet lots of international students are following and wondering!

@MYOS1634 I got a pretty generous package! They met my entire demonstrated need (85-90%). Parents have to pay the remainder + health insurance, living costs and travel costs which my they will be able to manage. So glad that it all worked out eventually
Congratulations!
