I just recently got accepted to the University of Minnesota, but I was wondering about the University-wide scholarships. The page with all the scholarships from the school is here: University-Wide Scholarships . I was wondering how do you get these scholarships. Do you have to apply for them or are they automatically added to you. Also, how do you find out.

Henrybob…All students who submit an application to U of Minn are considered for the University wide scholarships. There is no additional application for them. If you are awarded any of these scholarships, you’ll be notified by a snail mail letter (unless they’ve changed procedure from last year).

Depending upon which college at the U you were accepted into, there may be some additional college specific scholarships (i.e. CBS, CLA, CSE, etc.) which you might be eligible for. Some of those may require an additional application. Check the website for the specific college you’ll be entering to see what might be available.

Congrats on your acceptance to the U…and Good Luck!!
