Unneeded AP classes to show rigorous schedule

You can’t get the information that you want in this thread. It depends on the teacher. Some teachers teach an AP class to a 5. Those classes can be very difficult. Some teachers teach at the pace that the students can handle and don’t care what scores students get on the AP. Those are less stressful.

Here’s what I would do. Definitely take AP Chem.

I would talk to people who have taken or are taking those other AP classes at your school. Ask them to tell you how much more work the AP class over the honors class. Some examples, at our school
AP Calculus AB 1.0 (some even say that it’s easier than honors precalc)
AP Calculus BC 1.5 (about 50% more work than honors precalc)
AP US 2.0
AP Euro 2.0
AP Bio 3.0 (this is just brutal!)
AP Physics B 1.5
AP Chem 1.5

etc.

Then you can determine if it’s too much work to do the AP english and history. Don’t forget to leave time for college applications.
