I also put january and july.

Its feb and aug cuz 1 <x <2 corresponds with feb and 7 <x <8 corresponds with aug and the numbers were 1.something and 7.something

I believe I did that one incorrect anyway…I looked for the places where it was minimum, not maximum. Whoops! That’s why I thought it was January.

@heyMA321 I put Jan. and July on that, pretty sure I got it right, as I had graphed it and the peaks were between 1 and 2, and 7 and 8.
The cone/cylinder should be 3.

It was asec(theta)

what was the one with values of a b c d? I had no idea what that was, something related to a determinant I heard?

edit: I forgot to mention I also put January and July. I took the derivative then found where it went from positive to negative by graphing it, so I’m pretty sure I was right. Don’t know the noncalculus way to do it though (maybe just graph it?)

I ended up with 4 omits and 2 or 3 wrong. Am I just outside the 800 range or can I pull it off?

For the probability question did you guys get. 11!/(8!3!)?

I did.

@HalfWaterHalfAir isn’t that feb and aug? 0-1 is January, 1-2 is February, 7-8 is August

i think the answer was two b/c when you plug in 0 for y and solved it, you got 2 x values
