<p>For an unsubsidized Stafford loan the principle is deferred but we are responsible for paying interest on the loan. </p>
<p>How do we go about paying the interest? Has any received a bill yet?</p>
<p>They (fed govt not the school) will send you a bill. You don’t have to pay the interest now but it will be added to the principle, so if you can, I think it makes sense to pay it now.</p>
