Unsure how to organize ECs

I am unsure of which activities to list, or how to organize them. I feel like they may be a bit scattered. What order would I list them in?

I have a strong interest in education (as in education reform) after being inspired by one class early on in my high school career.

I plan on pursuing a major that combines politics and health, and pursuing a minor in education if offered.

Here are my ECs:

  1. Education Non-Profit (Most important and main EC) ~Founder and Executive Director of a Non-Profit online learning platform ~We make our own free, engaging content with the goal to help students become self-interested in learning ~Partnered with my city school district to adopt our content in afterschool programs ~Secured partnership to adopt content in a school for orphans in a rural Indian city for next summer, and part of my team and I will travel there to direct it's implementation

Participation: 9, 10, 11, 12
Timing: All Year
Hours per Week: 15

  1. Founder and Leader of Student-Run Community Organization ~We organize campaigns to collect items for teachers, students, or schools in the state that lack particular resources ~One group partners with local organizations to collect and allocate these items to the needy schools ~Second group visits poor schools in the region, and does hands-on, creative workshops with students on how to cope with poverty ~Originally had purpose of collecting items for any needy demographic in the state, but recently a nearby school district was unfairly monopolized by local politicians influenced by corporations, and resources are only being funneled into the affluent schools, while the other schools are neglected (Happens in America too). So we basically try to help these neglected schools. ~Facebook page has 800 likes (Haha should I mention this?)

Participation: 11, 12
Timing: School Year
Hours per Week: 10

  1. EdTech Startup with friend ~Social media-based network that connects teachers w/ same education idea (Won't go into details) ~ Still unfinished, but commended by a Sr. Associate at NY-based VC firm after presenting our current model and what we've done so far (Should I list this part?)

Participation: 10, 11, 12
Timing: All Year
Hours per Week: 5

  1. Tutoring Business and Volunteering ~Personal tutoring business that serves area with affordable service during summers (I'm the only tutor) ~Close Tutor/Mentor for disadvantaged inner-city students during school years (2 hr per week)

Participation: 10, 11, 12
Hours per Week: 4

  1. President Debate Club ~Organize trips to national and state competitions ~Ran/Organized a school-hosted competition with 110 student participants and 8 schools across the state

Participation: 9, 10, 11, 12
Timing: All Year

Hours per Week: 8

  1. President of Science Club ~Speakers and Community outreach ~Introduced Middle School science fair to school

Participation: 11, 12
Timing: School year
Hours per Week: 4

  1. Soccer (Varsity) (Only Spring) ~Varsity since 10th Grade -2nd in State and won conference a few times ~Freshman Year: Played for Club instead of school for Spring semester

Participation: 10, 11, 12
Timing: School Year

Hours per Week: 4

  1. Club Soccer (Only Fall) ~2nd place in a regional tournament (or, to word it better, 2nd place in entire South) ~Team selected to play in numerous tournament. ~Played for 3 v 3 club Junior year, so not as time consuming

Participation: 9, 10
Timing: School Year

Hours per Week: 6

  1. Student Advisory Council ~Elected to represent student body ~For election of new principal

~Elected to represent student body and interview new candidates for teacher hiring. My evaluations, along with those of 5 other students, were then considered by the school.

Participation: 11

Timing: School Year

Hours per Week: 4
Weeks spent per Year: 2

  1. Law Firm internship. Out of country, but unpaid (Should I list?) ~Researched/Wrote outsourcing investment-benefit report for a law firm to provide background research on various outsourcing models for lawyers.

Participation: 10
Timing: Summer

Hours per Week: 32
Weeks spent per Year: 3

The ones you were less committed to I would list last (Club Soccer and Student Council). Consider listing only the ones that demonstrate the attributes needed for your major. Top colleges like seeing a common focus or theme in ECs. I would definitely include the Internship because it’s unique and seems prestigious (as far as I know). The order you have now seems good, but I would definitely place the Intership nearer to the top. I applaud you for a great set of ECs.

@toolegittoquit Thanks. Basically, science club and debate club best relate to my major (which I am still a little undecided about). Everything else on there, except soccer and the internship, relate to my minor and I guess my high school obsession haha -education methods/reform.

That’s why I was unsure of whether or not to list the internship.

Anyone else?
