Unsure of how to decide my major(s) and minors(s).

Hello, I'm new to the site and I don't really know where to put this. Sorry for any annoyance or inconvenience.
My dream career is to be an international journalist. My current plan is to major in International Studies and double minor in Spanish and Arabic. I am also thinking about learning American Sign Language. For my master's, I would get a degree for Journalism.
I am just looking for some feedback or any suggestions. Thank you!

Would anyone please reply their opinion on how helpful this is to get a job in the field?

Bump bump bump

It looks like you are pretty sure about your major. What exactly do you want to know?

geo1113-I’m just trying to get any feedback/opinions about my plan. I’m trying to make the best decisions to go into this occupation.

mttwng- Yes, I really love writing and, not to sound

mttwng- Yes, I really love writing and, not to sound cocky, I’m fairly good. Thank you for the feedback!

LoveforLit - any number of plans can get you there and yours is a good one. One thing I might look at is whether is is better to have two language minor or perhaps one major. You would get more immersed in that one language. But I do understand the two minors. Also, it would be good for you to study abroad for a semester or two.

geo1113- Okay, thank you so much! I would be continuing my Spanish studies from high school and just starting Arabic. Honestly, I would like to stick to one major.

As I said, yours is a good plan. Go for it.
