I’m a second-year Chemistry major who was on a pre-pharmacy track but recently decided I don’t want to pursue pharmacy anymore. Nowadays when I tell people I’m a chemistry major they usually assume pre-health and when I say I’m not they often have a puzzled look on their face and ask what I want to do with that but I don’t have an answer.
I thoroughly enjoy chemistry and I am good at it but I don’t want to go to a professional health program. Besides getting more degrees in Chemistry what career can I have with it?
I’m also a political science minor and recently was informed about a career in Patent Chemistry which I think I’d enjoy but still open to other fields just because I don’t know much about this field or its job outlook/pay.
