Unsure

Im finishing my first year at college, and although I started at a State university where I went away to school, Im ending it back home at community college. I lvoed being away at school, and I had no issues missing home but the school work was overwhelming, and I came back home. but still I cant focus in any classes and the time spent at school makes me miserable, its not that its hard because I can handle the work its just that I have no motivation. Recently I want to move really far away and just start working becuase I do better ina working environment that in a classroom but i know I cant get a job without a degree and I absolutely hate College so I dont know what to do, any Advice?

Sounds like traditional college isn’t for you right now. Plenty of people find work without trad. degrees.

Not everyone needs to go to college! Try getting a job with a company you respect, do a good job and aim for a promotion. Also, if a traditional degree isn’t thrilling you, what about going to school for a trade skill like plumbing, etc?

After working a bit, you may pick up some maturity, or discover a passion and decide to finish the degree.
