<p>So as time is drawing near for the ED Deadline, I am getting more and more nervous! I know I don't have the brightest stats (3.1 gpa/29 ACT) But my essay/interview/EC's are above par in my opinion. Not to sound pertentious or anything, but I feel like the leader that Duke is looking for! Other than my acedemic side, I feel like I am the perfect fit for Duke. </p>

<p>So basically what my question is, is there anyone who got accepted to Duke, with a case like mine? (Not up to par gpa/act, but amazing leadership!)
If so can you share it, so maybe/hopefully, it will make me less nervous, and make me fell better?! haha

<p>I was in a similar situation. I had tons of awards, exceptional essays, a solid SAT 2340, good SAT II scores (750+) and decent AP scores (5,5,5) in Biology and both the English APs. However, I had a terrible set back senior year of high school, and my GPA fell drastically. However, I still managed to be admitted to top schools such as Duke, ivies, pomona, and JHU. I think I did a good job of explaining my circumstances to the admissions committee.</p>
