Okay fine, I just wanted your attention. Anywho, I'm only a freshman but I want to know if I'm on the right path towards getting into Wharton. =] Any advice or something you can give would be great. And please none of that "you're only a freshman don't worry".

Okkk sooo.
As of first semester:
UW GPA: 4.0
W GPA: 4.8
Class Rank: Get report cards next week, but expecting about 15-20/688

EC's:
Debate Club-Have won many district level and state level tournaments already (13 hours per week)
Mu Alpha Theta-Have only gone to one competition, received commended score on individual test (2 hours per week)
Varsity Tennis : Season just started.
(Next year, I'm doing Varsity Soccer, Varsity Swim, and JV Softball.)

Community Service: I volunteer for the city of ****, have about 20 hours total so far.

Job: Work at supermarket as a "front service clerk", pretty much I bag. lol.(13 hours per week)

Summer: Go to a 7 week sports sleepaway camp, and for 1 week I'm doing a Summer@Brown minicourse, Intro to Financial Markets.

you're fine. just do stuff you like. with all the sports maybe focus on getting recruited or something. get good test scores. etc. that's pretty much all that anyone can tell you.

I'm not giving you "a you're just a freshman" lecture but please, focus on high school and don't get too caught up in this process just yet. I was pretty obsessed soph/junior year and I was so focused on college that I lost sight of high school. Enjoy high school while you have it. Worry about college later.. everything will fall into place :)

Study hard, don't smoke, don't drink, and you'll be fine. Seriously.

Also, GPA is not as important as your actual grades because GPAs are so different across the nation and are often ridiculously inflated. Take an SAT II once you feel ready in a subject area you enjoy.
