I am a senior from California, and I had a cumulative GPA of 3.0 weighted and unweighted from freshmen year to junior year. However, I had 3.7 GPA previous semester & the admissions office requested to send me the transcript for the 7th semester, which is the first semester of senior year. I recieved 1990 and 1970 on my SAT reasoning test, which ends up being 2000 because it is available for one to choose scores from different tests.

I was wondering about my chances of being accepted to UO because it's my very top choice, and if I did get accepted I will become a duck no doubt. I am from out of state, and it says deferred to March review.

Hi 920810. This may sound like repetitive advice, but the best way to determine this is to contact an admissions counselor and explain your situation. Here are the best ways to inquire:

I got deferred to March review as well. I heard from people that since UO received too many applications, they are moving some applications to March (like they read your application in March). I don’t know if this is totally true or not.

As for chances, based on my school’s stats, you should have a good chance of getting in. But this will also depends on what major you apply to.

That’s correct, crabbie1234. We are reviewing applications as quickly as possible, but we did indeed receive a very high volume. We appreciate your patience!

My D received a letter requesting 7th semester grades (sent about 2 weeks ago).
Would a decision be pending then end of March or possibly earlier?
