UofM or UIUC?

It's a tough decision. I have accepted from both Illinois and UMN (and also Purdue)for biochemistry major, both a good schools and i don't know how to choose:( I am international student. UIUC sounds a bit more reputable whereas the OOS tuition of U of M is much affordable. I frankly don't have any ideas. But CBS looks pretty good, isn't it?

I guess if higher tuition is affordable for you, then go to UIUC, for what I know(I’m also an international), UIUC is a little bit more reputable than UMN

But since tuition is quite a crutial question to consider, like my situation, I suggest you choose UMN, 'cause UMN enjoys a reputation for high returns on equity(here I use an economic terminology), and also because of its raising reputation worldwide.

As for Purdue, I know its engineering majors are well-known. But I barely know nothing more about it…

Yeah I noticed that too (raising reputation worldwide). And after a little bit of research, i figured the reputation of the bioscience program is pretty good they have quite a lot of research projects going on. Moreover, I am aiming for graduate school, so I’d rather choose a school with lower cost and I think i am going to UMN next year:)
The only thing I worry about is the housing, I just finished the housing application last night and I am a transfer student, so I worry I can’t place into any dorm. :frowning: The housing website said the room for transfer studnets are limited:(
