<p>Took community college classes over the summer. Passed with As.</p>

<p>Pretty involved in band. I've been invited to play in a few concert bands around Virginia.</p>

<p>I'm a member of NHS, Beta Club, Spanish Club, blah blah blah.</p>

<p>Attended the Virginia Foreign Languages Governor's School.</p>

<p>Worked on a project that was featured in a national Librarian's Magazine. (My part of the project was a critical component.)</p>

<p>Your UW GPA of 3.7 is pretty good, and you demonstrate an upward grade trend in combination with a challenging courseload featuring Honors and 2 AP classes. By the time you graduate, you'll have 7 AP classes completed, and that is a respectable number. The fact that you took college classes at a comm college will help. Your SAT total of 2050 is also very good, and you demonstrate skill in comprehension, but your math score is a tad low. However, I think you'll do fine for the schools that you're applying to. Your ECs are also very good, and you demonstrate leadership in them. </p>

<p>Overall, you're a good student who has obviously worked hard in school, but I think that you're more of a arts-oriented student, and international relations may be the major that you want to study in. </p>

Georgetown: Slight reach (Your Math SAT is below the 25th percentile, but your ECs and high class rank - higher than the Top 10% - will help compensate for your SAT Math)
Univ of Chicago: Really, the essay component is your deciding factor for this school. I can tell you that your SAT places you near the 25th percentile part of the school's range and that your GPA is below the average of 3.89 by quite a bit, but they'll appreciate the fact that you've been improving and challenging yourself at the same time.
College of William and Mary + Virginia Commonwealth: Not familiar</p>

<p>College of William and Mary - Match (the only thing I would do is try to improve your Math SAT or try the ACT).
Virginia Commonwealth - In easily. </p>

<p>I agree with what he said for UChicago, but I really suggest you try to get your math up for that. Write good essays and you have a shot everywhere on your list :).</p>
