Update on housing

I’ll cross my fingers. I just get a bit anxious about it, because my sister had horrible experiance with her roomate this real. They hate each other, and that’s putting it lightly. I’ll just cross my fingers, and just hope for the best:)

To be honest guys, whether you dorm in Towers, Libra, Apollo, ect. your social life is going to be mainly based on yourself. If you want to have a social life, then you need to be socially active yourself. Just because one dorm has a reputation for being social or not, you can’t based your social life or your roommate on that. Just because something correlates doesn’t mean it is the cause.

We’re all well aware of that. LIke most everyone says, you get out of it what you put into it. If you’re not social, don’t except to make friends. If you are social, expect to get to know many different people. However, it DOES help if some of the people chose a particular dorm, based upon the interaction they’ll get from it. There’s a few members who have stated they also like Libra, and from personally talking to a few of them, they admited to choosing it, because of, based on the common room, you’re almost forced together. If you’re in a dorm surrounded by people who chose it because of the interaction, you’re more so then likely able to get to know even more people. Say, verses the towers, where a lot of it is composed of upperclassmen, who’ve already made that click of friends, and are dorming with them. There’s many meetings for each floor. I know an idividual down there, that says, thanks to the layout, he’s friends with, literally, everyone on his floor. Sometimes there’s different aspects that will add to it.

lol my friends who are in libra right now actually say its kinda antisocial as nobody likes to be cooped up in their building. They board around campus or go to the gym instead

Well, who wouldn’t want to go to the gym? It’s awesome:)
I’ve been fantasizing about how cool that rock climbing wall is.

The wall is pretty sick but the lines can be pretty bad. You gotta time it right to get time

Well, no lines for the pool:) That’s true, it’s all about timing.

i logged on today and mine said "Alana, the housing application is currently closed. Spring 2012, Summer 2012, and Fall 2012 Agreements will be available on December 1, 2011. Thank you. "

@fayth

I saw that too. Thursday is the date. I was at UCF yesterday and they told me this. What dorm do you want? I’ve seen lake Claire and I think I will be going for that one for fall

Either Libra or Nike/Hercules.

Hercules for me

I’m planing on Libra.

Leeebruhhhh all day :p

Libra is where it’s at:)

I feel like, suddenly, where all going to walk in, and say, ‘Oh, you were so and so on CC.com!’. College confidential party?!

…I’m kidding. Ha. Sarcasm.

if i get in… lol definitely nike for me

For me, I’ll either be in Nike/Hercules or Towers. I’m hoping to get a single dorm, but we’ll see.
